I had a great conversation with Adel de Lange a couple of weeks ago on this very subject

Adel and I have twice worked together (I’ve been lucky enough to help her find a role on both occasions) – and we discussed a large and failing programme she joined mid flight in a rescue mission. What did she do to turn it around?

I was expecting a technical conversation – but time and again we came back to people.

And that reflects conversations I have regularly with customers and candidates alike. Getting teams aligned, getting priorities right, getting people motivated and on board, lining up individual expectations with business need – these are the things that must be done well to deliver technology change.

But Adel’s much more compelling on the subject than I am – so over to her.
