Sales and Commercial Manager – Legal Software – Remote UK – £140K OTE 

An excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious sales lead to join a small software business, focussed on the legal sector, and take responsibility for the sales and commercial side of the organisation.  

Day to day you’ll manage a small sales team, and be responsible for client discovery, product demonstrations, and managing the sales cycle through to agreement. You’ll also take responsibility for improving the sales process, marketing and sales collateral and broader sales strategy.  

To be effective in the role, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate your experience selling software into professional services businesses. You’ll need an understanding of how partnerships buy; a clear ability to build relationships across an organisation, and experience of generating new business and customers.  

The opportunity is to be at the heart of the company’s growth. Working closely with the CEO – and freeing his time to focus on product development and the strategic growth of the organisation – you’ll be at the head of the sales and marketing function as the business grows. 

This is a career opportunity for someone with hands on sales skills and strategic capability who is looking to move into a strategic role for the long term.  

The role can be done from anywhere in the UK; you’ll need to be able to be on site with customers for demonstrations when required. 

Commission is uncapped but an OTE of about £140K is envisaged; of which a base salary of about £70K is on offer.
