Background

CloudCapcha (www.cloudcapcha.com) are seeking to appoint a Sales Director, who will be at the centre of their growth push in the UK, US, Canada and Aus/NZ.

The product is initially targeted at accountancy firms with 100+ users, excluding the Big 4 / Big 5.

There is, therefore, a target audience globally for the product of around 300-400 firms (80 in the UK, 50 in Australia, 200+ in the US). Currently CloudCapcha are working with approximately 10. 

The initial target is to grow to 60,000 seats for the product (from a current base of around 1,200).

To date the key factor preventing growth has been technical capability; specifically, the ability to swiftly integrate with all core practice management platforms within the target client environment. This is now resolved so growing the sales capability by hiring a Sales Director is now the focus.

The Role

The Sales Director will work closely with the CEO to build and lead a sales team focussed primarily on US and UK sales.

They will be responsible for creating and implementing a Sales Playbook, developing the sales strategy and hiring and maturing the team.

The successful candidate will need:

  • Previous experience selling into mid-tier accounting firms
  • Demonstrable track record in an Individual Contributor sales role and the desire to continue “hands on” selling
  • Significant sales leadership experience (not necessarily into accounting) – leading from the front.
  • Either experience in both US and UK markets (if UK based) or to be based in the US with a strong network in that market
  • Experience selling to mid to large firms – target mapping, dealing with multiple decision makers and influence
  • Strong sales planning experience
  • Experience selling into complex Partnerships; building consensus and overcoming inertia

The Opportunity

This is a crucial hire for CloudCapcha, and the successful candidate will be at the heart of the company’s success.

The Sales Director will work closely with the CEO and will be responsible for agreeing targets and milestones to ensure their OTE is achievable and in line with company goals.

Success will be founded on a significant growth in ARR, built around both increasing seat numbers and successfully positioning price and value within the market.

The role will attract a base of £150-180K, and double that as an OTE. There is the possibility of equity once established and successful.

The role is fully remote. The candidate can be based either in the US – anywhere in the Central or Eastern USA time zones – or in the UK. Significant experience in the US accounting firm market is essential for the successful candidate.
